July 23, 2013: Today's edition of The Morning Swim Show features two German swimmers who will compete next week at the FINA world championships. Host Jeff Commings talks with Theresa Michalak and Daniela Schreiber from the BEST Training Centre in Mallorca, Spain. The two discuss their preparation for the meet, including the results of broken swims done just minutes before the interview. With Germany coming off a less-than-stellar Olympic Games, the two discuss the reasons why the team left with no medals, and if the team looks to be in a position to score medals in Barcelona. Note: Though German media is reporting that Schreiber is considering dropping the 50 freestyle at the world championships to make room for Britta Steffen to step in, Schreiber does not allude to any final decision about swimming the 50 in this interview, which was conducted last Wednesday.
