Thursday's edition of The Morning Swim Show has a video interview with Olympian Eric Shanteau, as well as an early look at the August issue of Swimming World Magazine.
Eric Shanteau, who was part of the shocking men's 200 breast race at the US Olympic Swimming Trials and later announced he has testicular cancer, talks about his diagnosis and how it affected his outlook going into the Trials. He also talks about his respect for cyclist Lance Armstrong, who was also afflicted with testicular cancer, yet won the Tour de France after his treatment.
The final segment of the show looks inside the August issue of Swimming World Magazine, which arrives in subscribers' mailboxes next week. Coverage of the Olympic Trials is the main focus of the magazine, with recaps of the men's and women's events, as well as predictions of the Olympic medalists in each event.
