March 14, 2013: One of the top swimmers at last week’s NCAA Division II swimming and diving championships was Drury’s Vlad Sidorkin, and he joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show. Sidorkin relives the thrill of helping the Drury men win a ninth consecutive team title and why the women’s loss by one point last year made the 2012 victory the hardest win for the men. Of the two individual victories Sidkorkin accomplished this year, he says the 200 free was the best race, simply because of his fast time, but he said reliving the experience of winning the 400 free relay and 800 free relay gave him goosebumps, remembering his come-from-behind rally to help Drury. This summer might mark the end of Sidorkin’s swimming career, depending on how well he does to qualify for the Estonian world championship team. But he has started thinking about future plans, which would include a Master’s degree.
