Cody Miller on The Morning Swim Show

March 8, 2013: Indiana junior Cody Miller had a breakout meet at the Big 10 championships last week, including posting the second-fastest 200-yard breaststroke in history, and on today's edition of The Morning Swim Show, he talks about how the meet sets him up for the NCAA championships. Miller also discusses the disqualification that occurred in the 400 medley relay, in which he took an extra dolphin kick at the start of his breaststroke leg, and whether it was a fair call or not. He also address allegations of taking illegal dolphin kicks in the 200 breast and whether he would support a possible rule allowing multiple dolphin kicks at the start of a breaststroke race. Miller will be one of a group of Indiana swimmers poised to place high at the NCAA championships, and he talks about the events in which Hoosiers could score well. Though he has done well this short course college season, Miller is more excited about the long course season ahead, and he explains why he’s a better long course swimmer. He also relives the experience of competing at the Olympic Trials in the 200 IM final.
