An interview with the holder of the longest-standing national high school record is the focus, as well as a recap of some of the swims from the FINA World Cup, are the highlights in today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Host Peter Busch opens the show with commentary of the two world records set on the first day of swimming at the Stockholm stop of the FINA World Cup, and reports on Geoff Huegill’s return to competitive swimming after a two-year retirement.

In the High School Swimming segment, Busch talks with Jeff Kostoff, the owner of the 500 freestyle national high school record for 25 years. Kostoff talks about his physical state the day he set the record and why he thinks the record has not seriously been challenged.
