June 19, 2012: In Jackson, Miss., an organization called the 100 Black Men of Jackson is working to teach all kids to swim, and the executive director and swim instructor join today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to talk about the second year of the program. Aswtukunbo Oredein and Valencia Rice discuss the origins of the learn-to-swim program and the response to the first summer season of teaching kids to be water safe. In addition to discussing the lack of swimming prowess among minority kids in Jackson, the two talk about the community’s amazing call for such a program.
