Duamis talks about how the meet continues to prepare him for the upcoming Olympic Trials and how diving against the world's best helps his confidence.
In Reaction Time, Busch talks to Sid Cassidy, the chair of the FINA open water technical committee, about the upcoming test event in Beijing that will put 11 more men and 11 more women on the roster for the inaugural 10K Olympic race. He also gives details on the race course, which will be held at the rowing venue.
Individual medley transition turns are the focus in this week's Tips and Technique. Frank Busch, head coach at the University of Arizona, talks about the proper way to do a crossover turn from backstroke to breaststroke. Olympic hopeful Whitney Myers demonstrates the turn, with above-water and below-water camera angles.
