Feb. 4, 2013: Injury kept Alex Forrester from competing in the Olympic Trials, but she’s doing well now in her senior year at Yale, and she talks about returning to form on today's edition of The Morning Swim Show. Forrester was the runner-up in the 100 fly at the 2011 USA Swimming winter nationals and sixth in the 100 fly at the NCAA championships in 2012. She swam well at the NCAAs, but was feeling pain in her shoulder so severe that it forced her out of Trials. Through the summer she worked to heal her shoulder, and a speedy 100 fly last month shows that rehabilitation seems to be working. She talks about working with first-year coach Jim Henry and how they’re working together to help her swim fast in her final collegiate season.
