Zach Yeadon has given his verbal commitment to the University of Notre Dame. Yeadon is a distance freestyler from San Antonio, Texas. He trains with Alamo Area Aquatics Association.

Yeadon’s best times:

200/500/1000/1650: 1:40.21/4:23.01/9:33.26/15:09.77

Swimming for Ronald Regan High School at the 2016 6A Texas High School state championships, Yeadon finished second in the 500 freestyle (4:23.01) and 14th in the 200 freestyle (1:41.18).

Notre Dame finished seventh at the 2016 ACC Championships. Yeadon will be a point scoring help to the Fighting Irish. His best time in the 1650 would have scored 23 seventh place points last February. That would have been Notre Dame’s highest finish in the event. He also would have been 13th in the 500 freestyle.
