NEW COMMIT: Kristin Bria, a senior at Coatesville Area High School has verbally committed to swim at York College of Pennsylvania beginning next fall. Bria swims for Coatesville Area Aquatics.
Her top times are:
- 50 Free 24.75
- 100 Free 55.89
- 100 Breast 1:12.74
- 100 Fly 1:04.36
At last year’s Capital Athletic Conference Championships Bria would have finished seventh in the 100 free. York had three swimmers in the top eight. Her best 50 freestyle time would be good for fourth place, York’s highest finisher. She has options for her day two event. At last year’s meet she would have snuck into the B final of the 100 fly, while she would have won the 100 breaststroke B final. Bria should also be a contender for multiple relays for the Spartans.
She said of her decision,
