World Junior Championships: Daniel Diehl, Leah Hayes, Teagan O’Dell Lead Entries (PSYCH SHEETS)

The entry lists have been released for the 2023 World Junior Championships.

The meet runs Sept. 4-9 in Netanya, Israel.

The list includes 94 countries represented and nearly 650 athletes invited.

The U.S. will be led by Daniel Diehl, Teagan O’Dell and Leah Hayes.

Diehl is the top seed in the 100 backstroke, but will be much busier than just his top event. He is the second seed in the 200 backstroke and 200 IM, the third seed in the 100 freestyle and fourth seed in the 50 backstroke.

Meanwhile, Hayes is the top seed in the 200 IM and 400 IM and O’Dell is the top seed in the 100 and 200 backstrokes.

Australia’s Flynn Southam has three top seeds to lead the freestylers.
