Wisconsin’s Top Recruit Sam Senczyszyn Chooses Arizona
MEQUON, Wisconsin, July 12. THE top ranked recruit out of the state of Wisconsin, Sam Senczyszyn, has decided to spend her college years somewhere a bit warmer as she committed to the University of Arizona today.
Senczyszyn, who trains at Ozaukee Aquatics and preps at Grafton High, made her commitment known today via Twitter.

Senczyszyn gives Arizona head coach Rick DeMont one of the top breaststrokers in this class as she has a 1:00.76 to her credit in the 100-yard breast as well as a 2:15.07 in the 200-yard breast. She also has some sprint speed with a 22.91 in the 50-yard free on her resume from the Wisconsin Girls Division 2 State Championships this past season.
In long course competition, Senczyszyn has gone a 1:10.91 in the 100-meter breast as well as a 2:34.74 in the 200-meter breaststroke event.
CollegeSwimming.com ranks Senczyszyn as the 36th-best recruit in the nation in the Class of 2015, and gives the Wildcats an early spark to their recruiting class.
