Will Licon became the second person to break 1:50 in the 200 breast in prelims today at the men’s NCAA championships, then followed it up in finals with a win and another swim under the barrier. In an interview with the media, he breaks down the race with Kevin Cordes and his attempt to “keep it long and strong” through the first half of the race. He also talks about working with Eddie Reese this season and how he was able to keep a level head all season as he continually improved.
