WATER POLO GALLERY: Musclebound US down under against the Aussies

The countdown is on for tonight’s second international water polo Tests between Australia and the USA at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre and if the opening games were anything to go by then two more gripping games are on the cards.
Tuesday saw Olympic women’s champions the US hang on for an exciting 10-9 victory over the Aussie Stingers, stretching their winning streak to 69, while in the men the Aussie Sharks came from 7-4 down to beat the US in a 13-12 cliff-hanger.
Harvpix was poolside and captured these images which will whet the appetite for much of the same when the men kickoff the program at 6:30 with the women following at 8pm.
Saturday’s Third Tests will see the women playing at 5.00 and the men at 6.30.
