Virginia Tech Is On A Roll; Picks Up Verbal From Tatum Hackler

The Hokies just keep growing their 2017-2018 roster. Tatum Hackler has announced her verbal commitment to be a member of the Virginia Tech Class of 2021. She will join Molly Sheffield, Heather Sigmon, Nicole Pape, and Emily Meilus who have also made verbal commitments.
Hackler shared,
“I chose Virginia Tech because of the dedicated coaching staff, the great team atmosphere, and the amazing sprint program they have to offer. I am extremely excited to be spending my next four years in Blacksburg! Go Hokies!”
Hackler swims for Coast Aquatics in Florida. The high school senior’s best times are:
- 50 Free: 24.16
- 100 Free: 52.42
- 50 Back 27.27
- 100 Back 59.09
- 50 Fly 25.75
- 100 Fly 57.21
At the 2015 Florida 3A High School State Championships, she finished fifth in the 50 freestyle with a 24.17.
The Hokies were fifth last year at ACC Championships. Hackler is not quite in scoring range yet, but joins a strong incoming class with great potential.
