(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Siobhan Haughey on Racing Mallory Comerford
Michigan senior Siobhan Haughey talked after the ACC-B1G Challenge about her impressive swims in early November as she scored a win over Louisville’s Mallory Comerford in the 200 free on Sunday. Haughey swam a 1:42.63 to take the top time in the country this season so far and she placed second in the 100 free with a 47.09. She is second in the nation in the 100.
Haughey also anchored a couple winning relays for the Big Ten with a 47.27 on the end of the 400 medley relay and a 1:42.88 on the end of the 800 free relay on Saturday night.
Haughey talked about what it was like to race with her Big Ten rivals and how this meet compared to the USA College Challenge in 2016 when she also represented the conference.
Haughey also gave an update to her injured foot that has been bugging her the last year, and where she is at before she travels to the Georgia Invite after Thanksgiving.
