Simone Manuel won the 50 free and took third in the 200 free on night two at the arena Pro Swim Series in Mesa and afterwards spoke about her double.

Manuel explained how she’s figuring out how to swim the 200 free more efficiently after fading badly down the stretch in the event at Olympic Trials, and she also explained why she’s been surprised at some of her performances so far in Mesa, particularly her 24.66 in the 50 free.
