Stanford’s Simone Manuel talked with the media following a women’s 50-meter free silver at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.
Manuel raced her way to second with a 24.91, jumping up to 11th in the world rankings with the effort.

SwimMAC’s Madison Kennedy bettered her season best to win the women’s 50-meter free at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.
Kennedy threw down a 24.71 to break a tie with Abbey Weitzeil (24.72) for fifth in the world rankings.
Stanford’s Simone Manuel raced her way to second with a 24.91, jumping up to 11th in the world rankings with the effort.
Belarus’ Aliaksandra Herasimenia, already fourth in the world with a 24.70, took third in 24.98.
Wisconsin’s Ivy Martin (25.45), Canada’s Victoria Poon (25.72), Brazil’s Graciele Herrmann (25.72), Mexico’s Lili Ibanez (25.98) and Fiat Minas’ Daiane Becker (26.17) also competed in the final.
Colorado Stars’ Missy Franklin and Grand Canyon’s Isabel Ivey tied for the B final win with 25.56s.
