Nathan Adrian won the 50 freestyle tonight in incredibly windy conditions. Despite having a weaker start than at the Orlando stop of the Pro Series, Adrian was fairly pleased with the swim.

Nathan Adrian dropped one one hundredth off his season best to post a 21.69 tonight in Mesa. That time improves his third fastest time in the world.
Sprint veterans Anthony Ervin and Cullen Jones finished in second an third with times of 22.28 and 22.30.
Erik Risolvato touched in 22.44. Luis Flores (22.45), Nick Soedel (22.66), Michael Chadwick (22.71), and Derek Toomey (22.81) rounded out the A final.
Jimmy Feigen posted a 22.69 to win the B final.
