Maya DiRado spoke with the media at today’s press conferences. She said a lot about her plans to start working in Atlanta in September and the steps towards her future she and husband Rob are taking. She is sure that no results this summer would be enough to convince her to continue her swimming career.
While avoiding becoming overly sentimental, DiRado reflected on the wonderful six years she spent at Stanford and her love for the Avery facility. She also talked about her long term, steady progress in the sport and also gave insight into her anticipated event schedule this week.
