(Video Interview) Lauren Pitzer Ready to Join Star-Studded Stanford Team

Competing for Lakeside Aquatic Club for the final time before heading off to Stanford, Lauren Pitzer has finished third in both the 400 free and 200 free at Speedo Junior Nationals. Swimming World caught up with her after the 200-meter race.

Pitzer discussed why she likes to attack a 200 free from the start and try to hang on and what she considers her best event with her incredible 50 to 800 range in freestyle. She also looked ahead to the start of her college career at Stanford and how she expects to fit in with the defending national champions.
