15-year-old Isabelle Stadden won her first Junior Nationals title in the 100 back Friday night, posting an impressive time of 1:01.23. And as she explained after the race, the meet is actually her first major national competition.
In a video interview with Swimming World, Stadden explained what the experience has been like and how she has handled the pressure and atmosphere of her debut meet and how she has been dropping huge amounts of time recently. She also discussed what it felt like to stand on top of the podium at Juniors.
