University of Florida Gator great Caeleb Dressel earned himself another victory at the Santa Clara stop of the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series, this time in the 100 free.
Dressel’s time of 48.96 was the first time he has been under 49-seconds during heavy training and good enough to get passed Michael Chadwick (49.28) and Zach Apple (49.45), who touch second and third in tonight’s A final. Notably, Cal’s Nathan Adrain swam a 48.99 from the B final.
In the interview Dressel talks about his own expectations for himself, training with fellow Gator alum Ryan Lochte and being happy with his current performances, especially in the 100 free, given his recent grueling training and racing schedule.
