Breeja Larson met with the media tonight after her 200 breaststroke win in Mesa.
Original race report:
After yesterday morning Breeja Larson ended up in the B final of the 100 breaststroke. She went on to win her Finals heat in 1:08.61. Tonight, she was first at the 100 from lane one with a 1:09.97 and came home with a win, stopping the clock at 2:26.64. Larson was racing in front of a home crowd.
Ashley McGregor finished second in 2:27.68. Hilde Luthersdottir touched third in 2:28.04.
Melanie Margalis (2:28.44), Haley Spencer (2:29.47), and Laura Sogar (2:29.58) were also under 2:30.
Emma Schoettmer (2:30.48) and Molly Hannis (2:31.11) also competed in the A final.
Katie Meili won the B final in 2:28.55.
