Andrew Wilson twice swam under 2:09 in the men’s 200 breast on the first day of the TYR Pro Swim Series meet in Atlanta, posting a 2:08.52 in prelims and then a 2:08.95 in finals. After the evening race, Wilson recapped his day and explained why he was so eager to put down two quick swims in one day.
Wilson explained what it’s like racing back in Atlanta, where he attended Emory for four years, and how he has adjusted to the full-scale professional swimming life. He also revealed a possible reason why his long course swimming has already surpassed anything he accomplished in short course.
