Cammile Adams has secured her spot on Team USA’s roster for Rio by winning the women’s 200 fly. Her time of 2:06.80 ranks her seventh in the world this year.
Adams was originally disqualified during the preliminary heats, which was fortunately overturned after video review. She won this event in Omaha in 2012 and went on to finish fifth in London.
The two-time Olympian talked to the media about swimming her own race and the relief she felt when she touched the wall.
