Versatile Robyn Dryer of NCAP Commits to North Carolina
SPRINGFIELD, Virginia, September 25. ROBYN Dryer, a versatile swimmer who trains with Nation’s Capital, has decided to commit to the University of North Carolina as part of the Class of 2015.
Dryer, the seventh-ranked recruit in the State of Virginia by CollegeSwimming.com, preps at West Springfield and will provide the Tar Heels with an all-around threat.
Her top-ranked time is a 2:16.90 in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2014 NCSA Summer Championships in Indiana, while she also will provide UNC some pop in the distance freestyle events with a 9:56.19 in the 1000-yard free and a 16:43.81 in the 1650-yard freestyle events on her resume.

She should continue to progress this season, which will be exciting as she will appear live on SwimmingWorld.TV as part of our annual webcast of NCAP’s Tom Dolan Invitational this December.
Dryer also can expand her ability into some shorter distance swims with a 56.46 in the 100-yard back and a 1:05.29 in the 100-meter backstroke event.
