The fastest female time in the 500 was a 5:07.85 by Jill Hernandez, 39 swimming for the USA Water Bandits.
Celeste Miller,50, from the Sierra Nevada Masters, had the best performance of the day in the 500 Free with a new age group record of 5:43.51 taking over 8 seconds off Barbara Dunbar's record of 5:51.95.
Ardeth Mueller,58 from St. Louis Area Masters broke her own record in the 500 by posting a 6:00.95 to shave a bit off her 6:01.12 set last year.
