USA Swimming Wins Fan Engagement Award for Olympic Trials Hosting Duties

USA Swimming has been awarded the prestigious International Sports Awards Fan Engagement Award – Governing Body from the International Sports Convention. This award recognizes the organization’s outstanding efforts in hosting the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, presented by Lilly, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The award celebrates USA Swimming’s historic achievement of hosting the Trials in an NFL stadium for the first time, transforming Lucas Oil Stadium into a world-class aquatic facility. The event drew an unprecedented 285,000 fans over nine days, including a record-breaking 22,209 fans in a single session. With state-of-the-art technology, including a 70-foot digital athlete introduction board, immersive hospitality experiences, and citywide celebrations, USA Swimming created an unforgettable and captivating experience for fans and elevated the sport’s visibility.

USA Swimming will officially receive the award during the International Sports Convention 2025, which will be held in London from March 19 to 20.
