COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, March 5. AFTER a day of dotting their Is and crossing their Ts, USA Swimming has been able to release the official NCAA Division I Women’s Psych Sheets. NCAA DI Women – Official Psych Sheet
NCAA DI Women – Official Invited Swimmers By Team
NCAA DI Women – Official List of Eligible Institutions for Relay Events
NCAA DI Women – Official Meet Alternate List
NCAA DI Women – Preselections Entry List
Based on these results, and scoring the psych sheets, Georgia is definitely in a strong position to defend their NCAA title.
Here’s the top 10 teams based on psych sheet scoring:
1. Georgia, 512
2. California, 346
3. Texas A&M, 344
4. Stanford, 319
5. Florida, 267.5
6. Southern California, 255.5
7. Virginia, 194
8. Tennessee, 174
9. Arizona, 165.5
10. Indiana, 120
This doesn’t count diving, which will qualify through Zone Diving here shortly, but Georgia definitely has a strong diving program as well with the likes of Laura Ryan a potential three-board pointscorer. The rest of the teams are going to have to seriously out-perform their seeds to overcome the incredible initial seed advantage the Bulldogs have going into the meet in Minneapolis.
