Nathan Adrian has developed into the United States’ consistent sprint power. The 27 year old describes the feeling and importance of wanting to win for his country, and how that sense comes alive as athletes are issued gear featuring the American flag.
The Cal swimmer also recalls the embarrassing moment when his suit split during finals of the 100 freestyle at a meet in Indianapolis.
Adrian will swim the 50 and 100 freestyle and the 400 meter relays in Rio after winning both of those events at Olympic Trials.
