Molly Hannis was a two sport athlete until she was 14 years old. After qualifying for her first senior national meet, she turned her focus towards the pool. Now, she’ll represent the United States in the 200 breaststroke in Rio.
Hannis shared her memory of making the team, knowing the race was close, but not being able to see much. The Tennessee graduate will enter the Olympics tied for the eighteenth best time in the world this year.
Hannis also shared her connection with fellow first time Olympian Maya DiRado and how special it is to share this experience with her.

Are you seriously going to swim in that bay in Rio that a doctor there has said id the same as swimming in a human toilet? And what about the dead body floating (photographed in the news along with someone’s arm in another part of that bay). You could catch parasites and whatever. The news said Rio has failed to clean that bay where swimming and sailing is supposed to take place. Just asking.
