Missy Franklin, who needs very little introduction a year into her professional swimming career, shared the importance of the team supporting her swimming endeavors. The 21 year old talked about all of the people, especially her parents, who have gotten her here.
Her coach, Todd Schmitz has taught her the importance of the relationships in swimming, and how to use swimming to become a better person.
Franklin also recalled her favorite Trials moment and talked about the record of which she is most proud.
Franklin will swim the 200 freestyle, 800 freestyle relay, and 200 backstroke in Rio. In London in 2012 she took gold in the 200 backstroke and as a member of the 800 freestyle relay.
