Clark Smith enters his first Olympic Games to swim the 800 freestyle relay. The Texas Longhorn currently holds the American record in the 1000 freestyle.
Smith shared his earliest swimming memory: refusing to get in the pool without his water wings. He also talked about the number of strong age group coaches he had throughout his career, including Todd Schmitz. Now, Smith will be one of a number of Eddie Reese‘s Olympians in Rio.
