In a video series introducing the 2016 USA Olympic Swim Team Cammile Adams spoke about her introduction to swimming and her best event.
While Adams was not the best as a youngster, swimming for her father, she wanted to get a ribbon, so she started swimming the 200 butterfly, an event rarely featuring many entries. As Adams grew with the sport, she became a 200 butterfly force.
She went from the 2009 Junior PanPacs champion in the event, to fifth place at the 2012 Olympics. The 24 year old enters the 2016 Games with the seventh best time in the world this year.
Adams shares why she credits Sarah Henry as being the reason she made the Olympic team. She also talks about her love for country music.
