PHOENIX, Arizona, December 30. A story today on the Los Angeles Times website is reporting that the candidates for the chief executive officer position in the U.S. Olympic Committee have been narrowed down to USA Swimming CEO Chuck Wielgus and former USOC acting CEO Scott Blackmun.
Wielgus and Blackmun were among the six initial candidates for the USOC job earlier this month. The USOC board of directors will pick the new CEO early next month, with an announcement expected to be made Jan. 11, according to the story on the Times website.
