Upper Arlington Swim Club’s Erin Reardon Announces Commitment to Kenyon
NEW COMMIT: Columbus, Ohio native Erin Reardon has announced her commitment to Kenyon College and will arrive on campus at the start of the 2020-21 season.
Reardon swims year-round with the Upper Arlington Swim Club and earned bronze in the 500 free at the Ned Reeb Invite in December after earning a trio of best times at Geneva Futures this past summer. Also competing for Upper Arlington High School, Reardon placed 10th in the 500 free and 13th in the 200 free at the Ohio State Championships during her junior season.
She told Swimming World:
“I could not be happier to announce my academic and athletic commitment at Kenyon College! I am so grateful for the opportunity to join this amazing team. Thank you to my family, friends, coaches and teammates for their support throughout this process and my entire swimming career. Go Ladies!”
Her best times include:
- 200 free – 1:52.43
- 500 free – 5:00.02
- 100 breast – 1:05.36
- 200 breast – 2:22.67
- 200 IM – 2:08.31
Reardon will add valuable depth when she suits up for the Ladies as a member of the class of 2024. She would’ve scored in the A-final of the 200 free, 500 free, 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM at the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Championships where Kenyon handily won the team title.
