Unfiltered Waters Podcast: Olympic Trials Interviews Were a Hit; Lindsey Vonn Visits for an Episode
It wasn’t unusual seeing Missy Franklin and Katie Hoff at an edition of the United States Olympic Trials. Over the years, they’ve been headliners at Trials, using the competition as a springboard to Olympic success. Last week, though, Franklin and Hoff were members of the media, as they continued to provide their perspectives on the sport through their Unfiltered Waters Podcast. Since launching at the beginning of the year, the podcast has found success offering a look deeper into the lives and personalities of premier athletes in swimming and beyond.
At Trials, Franklin and Hoff packaged several interviews as part of a series called, Trial Talks. They took time to speak with former Team USA stars about their experiences at Trials and from their careers. Included in the interviews were the likes of Jason Lezak, Nathan Adrian, Dara Torres, Dana Vollmer and Rowdy Gaines, among others. The three-minute chats were highly informative and engaging, exactly what Unfiltered Waters has been since its debut.
More, this week’s full version of Unfiltered Waters featured an interview with skiing legend Lindsey Vonn. The American is one of the greatest skiers in history and she delves into aspects of her career and how she is now handling retirement.
