UNC Wilmington Rides Into Class of 2026 Recruiting with Verbal from Quinn Bike

NEW COMMIT: UNC Wilmington has received their first early verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Futures qualifier Quinn Bike of St. Charles, Ill.
Regarding her commitment, she said:

A talented backstroker, Bike does her club swimming with St. Charles Swim Team and finished 16th in the 100 back at Illinois Seniors back in March after taking sixth in that event at the Speedo Chicagoland Championships. In Summer 2019, she raced four events at Minneapolis Sectionals.
Her best times include:
- 50 back – 27.08
- 100 back – 56.30
- 200 back – 2:05.68
- 50 free – 24.48
- 100 free – 53.87
- 100 fly – 57.57
- 200 fly – 2:11.49
Currently a junior at St. Charles North High School, Bike raced the 100 back at the Illinois State Championships as a sophomore. She finished second in that event as well as fourth in the 50 free at the IHSA St. Charles Sectional Championships this past season as well.
Bike would’ve scored in the A-final of the 100 back at the 2020 CAA Championships.
She will overlap three years with Brooke Morgan, Morgan Kondratick, Peyton Wilson, Molly Braun, Sarah Rogillio, and Reece Alexander and Katie Knorr who will be members of the Seahawks’ class of 2025 under newly-appointed head coach Bobby Guntoro.
