U.S. Open Qualifier Ross Noble Commits to Harvard

NEW COMMIT: U.S. Open qualifier Ross Noble of Raleigh, North Carolina, has committed and been accepted to Harvard and will arrive on campus in the fall of 2022.
He told Swimming World:
“I chose Harvard because of the stellar coaching, amazing team culture and strong history of athletic excellence, in addition to their elite academics. I’m so proud and excited to be a future Harvard swimmer; Go Crimson!”
A talented backstroker, Noble does his club swimming with YMCA of the Triangle Area Swim Team and most recently competed at the Speedo Winter East Championships. This past summer, he earned two best times at the Speedo Summer East Championships.
His best times include:
- 100 back – 49.12
- 200 back – 1:47.55
- 200 fly – 1:50.17
Currently a senior at Millbrook High School, Noble is a six-time individual North Carolina 4A State Championship finalist. He placed fifth in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 IM as a junior while taking fifth and 10th, respectively, in those events during his sophomore season.
He has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors.
