Two-Time Georgia 7A State Champion Hailey Galbraith Will Stay In State, Gives 2021 Verbal to Bulldogs
NEW COMMIT: In-state standout Hailey Galbraith of Cummings, Ga. has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Georgia and will suit up for the Bulldogs at the start of the 2021-22 season.
She will arrive in Athens as a member of the class of 2025 along with Duné Coetzee, Mia Abruzzo, Lily Gardner, Mary Martin, Elsa Fretz and Rachel Stege.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 23.02
- 100 free – 50.48
- 200 free – 1:50.92
- 100 fly – 54.61
A talented sprinter, Galbraith does her club swimming with Spartan Aquatic Club and owns three Junior National cuts. She most recently competed at Plantation Speedo Sectionals where she finished fifth in the 50m fly after earning a best times at Juniors East. Last summer, she raced to 11th place in the 50m free at Georgia LCM Seniors.
Regarding her commitment, she said:

A current junior at North Forsyth High School, Galbraith is a six-time Georgia 7A State Championship finalist. The two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American won the 50 free and was the 100 fly runner-up during both her sophomore and junior seasons after taking fourth and third, respectively, in those events during her rookie campaign.
