.@BreejaLarson wins heat 1 of women's 100 breast in 1:07.06. But will that be enough? Larson not currently on Worlds team. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
.@BreejaLarson (1:06.73) chasing @swimhardy and @micah_lawrence (both 1:06.51) in finals for Worlds spot. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
.@KwCordes with a 59.70, definitely makes A-final. But he's not on Worlds team in the 100 after poor finals swim at Nationals. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
So Cordes will be the top seed overall. Can he step up his game to match Peaty (58.68) & others? Currently 7th in world. #PanPacs2014

.@FranklinMissy couldn't catch Schlanger in 100 free heat, but she looked solid. Good time, 53.75. Should make A-final. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
.@catecamp's 52.62 also the fastest time in the world this year. Won't be beat in finals. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Australia goes 1-2-3 in 100 free prelims. Anyone remember when U.S. beat them for World title last year? Me neither. #PanPacs2014

Aggregates for women's 400 free relay: AUS 3:34.06, USA 3:36.71. Ouch. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
@AbbeyWeitzeil will get the B-final spot over @s_vreeland. Unlikely she can catch up to 53.66 for individual event for Worlds. #PanPacs2014

Hey, Junya Koga in heat three. I know him. He's a backstroker. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Way behind at the 50, @MichaelPhelps does what he does. Brilliant second 50 and touches in 48.45. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Wait on these last two heats, but I think that will make the A-final. What other Americans beside Adrian can go that fast? #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Other Americans: @AnthonyErvin 49.11, @JimmyFeigen 49.14, @timphil1 49.98, @MattBMcLean6F 50.21.
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
McEvoy doesn't beat Phelps' time, touches in 48.49. @RyanLochte with another great finish, 48.90. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Fitting isn't it: final heat, @JamesMagnussen_ in 4, @Nathangadrian in 5. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Adrian 48.05, Magnussen 48.25. This should be a good one in the final, as always. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Aggregates: USA (Adrian, Phelps, Lochte, Ervin) 3:14.51, AUS (Magnussen, McEvoy, Abood, D'Orsogna) 3:15.05. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
.@MayaDiRado a solid bet for A-final after her 4:37.53. Currently holds second spot behind @ebeisel34. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Margalis enters as third-ranked swimmer, but 4:41.72 makes her no lock for the B-final. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Margalis edges @CammileAdams for the B-final spot for the U.S., 4:41.72 to 4:42.09. @BeccaMannSwims was 4:43.08. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
.@TylerClary looking easy and smooth with a 4:13.88. Glided into the wall. Almost caught by Fujimori, who was pumping last 50. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
.@chasekalisz way behind after fly in his 400 IM heat. How he swims the race. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Japan goes 1-2 with Hagino and Seto, USA 3-4 with @chasekalisz and @TylerClary. That's your finals battle. #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
What does @chasekalisz have in the tank? That 3:34 from NCAAs was impressive, but can he finally translate it? #PanPacs2014
— David Rieder (@David_Rieder) August 22, 2014
Wow, long day of swimming. Thinking I should get some sleep before the lovely 5am alarm for finals! #PanPacs2014
