Three-Time Missouri State Champion Kylee Sullivan Stays Local, Verbals to Mizzou for 2023

NEW COMMIT: The University of Missouri has successfully kept in-state standout Kylee Sullivan of Ballwin, Missouri, local for her college career after she verbally committed to the Tigers beginning in the fall of 2023.

She told Swimming World:

“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Missouri!! I’m so grateful for all of my coaches, teammates, family and friends who have supported me throughout this process. I can’t wait to be a part of this amazing team!!”

Sullivan trains with Parkway Swim Club and placed fifth in the 100m fly and 11th in the 200m IM at West Fargo Futures after winning the former event at Lenexa Sectionals this past summer. Last winter, she had five top-10 finishes at the ISCA International Senior Cup and finished seventh in the 200m fly at Jenks Sectionals.

She is also a U.S. Open qualifier.

Her best times include:

  • 100 fly – 54.39
  • 200 fly – 2:05.18
  • 50 back – 27.34
  • 50 free – 24.27
  • 100 free – 52.59
  • 200 IM – 2:04.20
  • 400 IM – 4:27.35

Currently a junior at Parkway South Senior High School, Sullivan won the 100 fly and 200 IM as a sophomore at the Missouri State Championships while taking second in both of those events during her freshman season. She also anchored the winning 4×50 free relay in 2021.
