The Big Swim is a free swim meet for children between the ages of 6-16. Each child races to the finish, gets congratulated by Olympians, receives free gifts including t-shirts, swim caps and food and has a whole day of fun. Asphalt Green, a not-for-profit organization, and home of Manhattan's only Olympic standard pool, hosts this free event. Registration deadline is March 29, 2000.
