December 5, 2018 – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) have released the fourth TYR Top 25 Dual Meet Poll of the 2018-19 swimming and diving season. The California men and Texas women held their #1 positions for the third poll in a row.
On the women’s side, Michigan, Stanford, California, and Tennessee complete the top 5. Tennessee made a large jump from ninth place up to fifth after their showing at their invitational. On the men’s side Texas, Indiana, Michigan, and Florida complete the top five. Texas men posted a large number of top times this past weekend to move themselves from sixth up to second.
The poll aims to measure the top teams in head-to-head competition over the most-recent polling period. The rankings are voted on by CSCAA-member coaches and the next polls are scheduled for release on January 23, February 13 and February 20.
