Texas TAPPS DIII State Champion Eloise Williamson Picks Wisconsin

NEW COMMIT: The University of Wisconsin has picked up a new verbal commitment for the 2025-26 season and beyond from Eloise Williamson, a Junior National qualifier out of Garland, Texas.

She will join Molly Yacoviello, Arianna Zelen and Sarah Larsen as a member of the Badgers’ Class of 2029.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am so incredibly honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison! I would like to thank God, my family, my teammates, and my coaches for guiding and uplifting me through this entire process. Thank you to all the coaches and the swimmers of @badgerswimdive and a special thanks to Coach Kristy for giving me this amazing opportunity! GO BADGERS!! #onwisconsin #committed”

Williamson does her club swimming with City of Richardson Swim Team and earned silver in the 50 fly at NCSA Spring Championships where she also placed eighth in the 100 fly. Last summer, she raced to third in the 50m fly and 11th in the 100m fly at NCSA Summer Championships.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 23.35
  • 100 free – 50.66
  • 50 fly – 24.03
  • 100 fly – 53.76
  • 200 fly – 2:00.44

A rising senior at Coram Deo Academy, Williamson won the 50 free and 100 fly at the 2023 and 2024 TAPPS DIII State Championships.

Williamson’s top time in the 100 fly is already fast enough to place in the B-final at the Big Ten Championships. The Badgers finished fourth at this year’s conference meet and then went on to take 15th at the NCAA Championships.
