Texas Ford’s Lindsey Ryalls Verbally Commits to Boston College
NEW COMMIT: Frisco, Texas native Lindsey Ryalls will make the move to Massachusetts next fall with her verbal commitment to Boston College as a member of the class of 2023.
Ryalls does her club swimming with Texas Ford Aquatics and most recently competed at Rochester Futures after recording a pair of best times at Austin Speedo Sectionals. She was a four-time finalist at College Station Speedo Sectionals in March and time trialed both butterfly events at Juniors West last winter. She finished ninth in both the 500 free and 200 IM at the Texas 5A State Championships during her freshman year.
She told Swimming World:
“I chose Boston College for the perfect balance of academic rigor and ACC athletics. I am very excited and grateful to be a part of the amazing program coach Mike and Dan are building. Go Eagles!”
Her best times include:
- 500 free – 4:58.25
- 200 breast – 2:24.99
- 100 fly – 57.10
- 200 fly – 2:03.71
- 200 IM – 2:07.22
- 400 IM – 4:24.93
Ryalls’ versatility will be extremely valuable when she suits up for the Eagles at the start of the 2019-20 season. Even with one more year of club swimming to go, her best 500 free, 200 fly and 400 IM would’ve ranked first on Boston College’s lineup last season.
