Texas A&M has added another in-state talent to the 2017-2018 roster. Lakeside Aquatic Club’s Kara Eisenmann has given her verbal commitment to the Aggies.
Eisenmann is a senior at Lewisville High School. Her junior year she was named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. She is also a three time NISCA All American in the 100 butterfly. Her sophomore and junior years Eisenmann also earned the designation in the 100 backstroke. At the 2016 Texas 6A State championships, Eisenmann finished fifth in the 100 back (55.96) and seventh in the 100 fly (55.64).
Eisenmann shared,
“I can’t wait to swim for Texas A&M next year! The whole team is very supportive of each other and the coaching staff is amazing. They have many academic opportunities that will help me reach my goals. I’m excited to join the Aggie Family! Gig ‘Em!”
Her best times are:
- 50 Back 26.31
- 100 Back 55.04
- 200 Back 2:02.39
- 100 Fly 54.87
- 200 Fly 2:03.63
The Aggies are the defending SEC Champions. Backstroker Laura Norman finished ninth in the 100 last year. She’ll be a senior when Eisenmann gets to campus. In the 100 butterfly Beryl Gastaldello will also be an experienced senior for Eisenmann to train with when she moves to College Station. Norman was also a finalist in that event.
Also in the Aggies’ Class of 2021 are Taylor Pike, Camryn Toney, and Haley Yelle.

She was 1:00.5/2:13.9 in the fly at the LCM Futures meet in August as well. On the rise.
