JACKSONVILLE, Florida, September 23. THOUGH her career as a coach is far from over, Teri McKeever was inducted recently into the International Swimming Hall of Fame for her three decades of work in guiding swimmers to the highest level of the sport.
In this exclusive video from the induction ceremony, McKeever speaks about growing up in a large family and deciding to attend the University of Southern California to swim for Don LaMont. She talked about her early work teaching and coaching other sports before LaMont convinced her to return to the pool deck. She learned about setting a high standard of coaching early on, and said she prides herself on maintaining that level through her career.
