The 2022 year was a spectacular year for swimming. World records were broken, championships were won and rivalries continued.
Heartbreak also happened as the sport continued to run through the gauntlet of emotions.
Swimming World has captured the images and moments of the year. Swimming World Chief Photographer Peter H. Bick was on the pool deck for many of the biggest meets, while international meets were captured by DeepBlue Media and other collaborators.
